TERMS

The short version.

Use Songroost for your own music, keep a backup of what matters, and be decent with what you share. Last updated October 22, 2026.

It's a beta

Songroost is in public beta. Features will change, and things will occasionally break. We work hard not to lose anything you save, but keep your own backup (Settings → Back up everything) of work you can't recreate. The service is provided as it is, without warranties. In plain terms: we can't promise it will always work, or never lose anything.

Your content stays yours

You own your charts, notes, recordings and everything else you add. You give Songroost permission to store and process it only to run the service for you, including sending it to the providers listed in our privacy policy when a feature needs them. Only upload material you have the right to use, and remember that anyone with a share link can see the setlist it's for.

Plans and payment

Songroost is free for up to 50 songs. Two paid options remove the limits: Songroost, a one-time purchase that unlocks the full app (unlimited songs and share links, and more hosted audio), and Studio, an optional yearly subscription for hosted video, more hosted audio and AI assist every month. Studio needs Songroost. Prices are shown before you pay.

On the web, purchases are made through Stripe. Cancel Studio any time from Settings → Plan → Manage billing; it runs to the end of the year you paid for and isn't refunded.

In the iOS app, purchases are made through Apple, and Apple's terms apply to them (including the standard Apple Licensed Application End User License Agreement). Studio bought in the app renews automatically each year unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the year ends; cancel it in your App Store account settings. Refunds for purchases made in the app are handled by Apple.

In the Android app, purchases are made through Google Play, and Google Play's terms apply to them. Studio bought in the Android app renews automatically each year unless you cancel it before the year ends; cancel it in Google Play under Payments & subscriptions. Refunds for purchases made in the Android app are handled by Google Play.

A purchase belongs to the Songroost account it was made on and works wherever you sign in to that account. A one-time purchase is yours to keep: we won't later move what it includes behind a subscription.

Fair use

Don't use Songroost to break the law, to share material you don't have the rights to, to overload or attack the service, or to get around its limits (for example, by creating accounts to collect free AI uses). We may suspend accounts that do, and will tell you why.

Ending things

You can stop using Songroost and delete your account at any time, yourself, in Settings → Account → Delete account. That's permanent, and it ends any setlists you share. If we ever shut the service down, we'll give at least 60 days' notice so you can download your library.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, Songroost isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses, and its total liability is limited to what you paid in the 12 months before the claim. In plain terms: if something goes wrong, the most we owe you is what you paid us that year, not knock-on costs like a missed gig fee. Where the law in your country doesn't allow limits like these, they don't apply. Questions go to support@songroost.com.
